Commodities arrived at the senior center to be distributed at 10 a.m. today. Beef, grapefruit juice, sliced potatoes, English walnuts, potato flakes and trail mix are available under income guidelines.

After the meal on Thursday, Marlo Mason of the Marion, Chase and Butler counties SRS will speak on Adult Protective Services. What are your rights and responsibilities?

Men's Coffee is scheduled at the center for Friday afternoon at 2:30. Games, coffee, goodies and conversation are the order of the day — everyone is welcome.

Bring friends and games on Wednesday afternoon for games, gab and goodies. A snack is served at 3 p.m.

Those who volunteered at the center last week included: Kitchen — Gladys Jantz, Mildred Jantz, Edna Spinks, Irma Groening, Erma Pankratz, Jean Herbel, Liz Ryding, Lydia Pankratz and Mariann Unruh; Meal drivers — Pearl Hadley, Paul Ediger, Lonn Richards, and Harold Jost; and FISH transportation — Liz Ryding and Ethel Bartel.
