Senior Soundings: Seniors celebrate birthdays

The following people celebrated July birthdays at the senior center on Monday: Rosella Suderman, Elsie Groening, Lucilla Funk, Oliver Unruh, Evelyn Ens, Yunietta Taylor, Ruth Neufeld, Irma Koop, Lila Penner, Elfrieda Fast, Art Jantz, and Connee Willis.
Games, gab, and goodies filled Wednesday afternoon at the center.
Mary McFadden, RN, will be available at the senior center on Monday, Aug. 1, for foot care (by appointment) and taking blood pressures.
A video "Brain at Risk" will be viewed after lunch at the center on Wednesday.
Those who volunteered at the center last week were: Kitchen — Carol Hicks, Nellie Jost, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Frieda Birkle, Frances Rempel, Mariann Unruh, and Mildred Jantz. Meal delivery — Ken Jost, Lonn Richards, and Wilbur Hanneman. FISH transportation — Ethel Bartel and Hilda Vogt.
