Soup-pie lunch scheduled for Nov. 8

Margaret Funk, Harold Jost, Elgin Bartel, and Roy Keller celebrated their October birthdays at the senior center on Monday. After the meal, the group took a trip from Texas to Yellowstone Park by video.
The AARP safe driving class will be offered Oct. 30 and 31 at the senior center. Review information to help you continue to be a safe driver plus save money on your vehicle insurance. Call the center for details.
Mary McFadden, RN, will be available at the center for foot care and taking blood pressures on Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Foot care requires an appointment.
A video, "Cataracts," was the program after lunch at the center on Nov. 5.
A soup and pie lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the center Nov. 8. This event is open to the public.
Those who volunteered their time at the senior center last week included: Kitchen — Gladys Jantz, Ann Fast, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Nellie Jost, Betty Bernhardt, Millie Hanneman, Margaret Funk, Mildred Jantz, and Kim Friesen; Meal delivery — Paul Ediger and Wilbur Hanneman; and FISH transportation — Lydia Pankratz, Gladys Schmidt, and Pearl Koch.
