Seniors: Covered dish day set for Wednesday

The "Preventing Backaches" video was shown at the senior center following the meal on Wednesday.
Melissa Batterton, ARNP, of the Hillsboro Family Practice Clinic will speak after the meal at the center on Tuesday. She will discuss her profession and explain the work of an ARNP.
The covered dish day is Wednesday. Dr. Zafar will see hearing patients at 11:15 a.m. The potluck meal will be at noon. After the meal, Lowell Goering will share humorous comments in a presentation "Having More Fun than Normal People."
Those who volunteered at the center last week included: Kitchen — Gladys Jantz, Nellie Jost, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Mildred Jantz, Esther Pankratz, Malinda Suderman, Mariann Unruh, and Mildred Harding. Meal drivers — Elgin Bartel, Pearl Hadley, and Ray Matz. FISH transportation — Ethel Bartel, Ray Franz, Hilda Vogt, and Helen Fadenrecht.
