Dr. Zafar will give hearing evaluations today at the center. Please pick up a packet and make an appointment.

The September birthday dinner is planned for noon Sept. 29. A video, "Driving from Arizona to Alaska," will be viewed after lunch.

Oct. 1 is Hat Day at the senior center. Everyone is encouraged to wear a hat to lunch that day.

On Oct. 2 a video, "But Names Can Hurt Forever," will be shown after lunch at the center. This presentation addresses the problem of long-term effects of bullying and name-calling.

The senior center thanks the following volunteers who gave their time last week: Kitchen — Elaine Leppke, Mildred Jantz, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Kim Friesen, Velda Hiebert, Mariann Unruh, and Lydia Pankratz; Meal drivers — Pearl Hadley and Ray Matz; and FISH transportation — Pearl Koch, Dave Classen, Kermit Ratzlaff, and Helen Fadenrecht.
