Silknitter, Meier engagement announced
The engagement of Andrea Michelle Silknitter, daughter of Vance and Judy Silknitter of Whitewater, to James Dean Meier, son of Lloyd and Linda Meier of Marion, is announced this week.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Berean Academy, Elbing, and a 2001 graduate of Butler County Community College. She currently is attending Emporia State University where she is majoring in elementary education. She is employed at Sauder Alumni Center at ESU and the Bank of Whitewater.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Marion High School and attends Emporia State University majoring in French and business. He is employed by St. Luke Living Center and currently is studying in France until June.
The couple plans to be married Aug. 1, 2003, at the Swiss Church of Whitewater.
