Skidding Tabor travels to McPherson

When the Tabor College Bluejays visit the McPherson Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, both teams will have the same reason to play their best.
The reason?
The loser will be a game out of last place.
Both Tabor (2-3, 1-3 KCAC) and McPherson (1-4) enter the game on the skids. Friends ran over the Bulldogs, 57-0 and the Bluejays played their worst game of the season, a 20-7 home loss to Sterling.
Last week at Bethany, Tabor had a season low two turnovers.
On Saturday, the Bluejays had four fumbles and threw one interception. Sterling punished Tabor for its mistakes, cashing in on one fumble for the Warriors' second touchdown.
While picking up 275 yards rushing, just six yards less than Sterling, Tabor could not get into the end zone until it was too late.
Jones was the biggest weapon offensively for the Bluejays, carrying the ball eight times for a team-high and throwing for 171 more.
