Soccer club and camp to begin soon
Marion County United Soccer club will have registration Aug. 22 for Fall 2005 and spring 2006 soccer seasons.
The league is available for athletes ages four to 18. Prospective members can register at Hillsboro Elementary soccer fields to the north of the school, or at Marion Elementary soccer fields, north of the school as well.
Registration time at HES is 4-7 p.m. and 4:30-7:30 p.m. at MES.
MC United Soccer also will be having a clinic Aug. 28 to help hone the skills of future players.
The cost is $30 and will be held at HES soccer fields from 1-5 p.m.
Benedictine's head soccer coach Rob Herringer will conduct the clinic.
