Sara Hiebert of Hospice Care of Kansas will speak today after lunch at the senior center. Her topic is "Comfort Care as a Choice."

Men's coffee is planned for 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Coffee, games, and conversation are in store for all who attend.

The February birthday dinner will be held after lunch on Monday. Birthday bingo is on the calendar.

A video, "Effects of Diet on Health," will follow the meal on Tuesday at the center.

On Wednesday, the covered dish lunch is planned. The senior center post office begins at 11 a.m. that day. The meal will be served at noon. After lunch, Hillsboro Police Chief Dan Kinning and Marion County Sheriff Lee Becker will present the program. At 2 p.m., games, gab, and goodies will begin.

Those who volunteered at the senior center last week were: Kitchen — Phyllis Neuenschwander, Mildred Jantz, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Ethelda Lemon, Kim Friesen, Millie Hanneman, Mariann Unruh, and Frieda Birkle; Meal delivery — Paul Ediger, Jim Brennan, and Wilbur Hanneman; FISH transportation — Albert Fadenrecht.
