Supper guests of Harry and Sheryle Rhodes March 14 were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Toews of Sexsmith, Alberta, Mike and Mich Rhodes and Madison, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family.
On Friday, Betty Wiebe, Lillian Wiebe, and Sandy Wiebe visited some of the residents at Moundridge Manor while the men attended a meeting in Moundridge.
Sympathy is extended to the Henry Redger family. Henry's son Norman Redger who grew up I this community and now of Deridder, La., passed away and memorial services were held in Louisiana. On March 10, Henry accompanied his daughter Donna and Darrel Koehn and family to be at the memorial services. He returned home with his other daughter Kathy and Harry Friesen from Canada who stopped here overnight. Ken and Sandy Wiebe and Clayton and Betty Wiebe, who also attended the services, left on Wednesday and returned on Friday.
Going to the home of Warren and Jane Unruh for Sunday dinner were Mitchell and Carol Unruh and Deryk, Brad and Joyce Dirks and family, Marcel and Wendy Unruh and Joel, Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff, and Greg and Charlene Wedel and Caden.
On Sunday afternoon Verla Redger and Lola Redger went to visit Milton and Bonnie Redger at Galva. Milton is recuperating after being a heart patient at a Wichita hospital.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe and the Travis Wiebe family went to Center, Colo., on Saturday for the wedding of Betty's niece Nada Koehn to Mike Schrock. They returned home late Sunday.
Sympathy is extended to Warren and Anita Unruh and family. Anita's grandfather Ed Funk, 90, passed away and memorial services were held Thursday afternoon.
On Thursday evening, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe hosted a school fund raiser supper at their home. Their supper guests were Harry and Lela Wedel, Randall Steiner, Larry and Wanda Koehn and Titus, Carol Unruh, Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, and Ruston and Lydia Dirks.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe had their family as Sunday dinner guests. They were Calvin Wiebe family, Wayne Wiebe family, Nelson Wiebe family, and Travis Koehn family.
Guests for Sunday dinner at the Ransom Wiebe home were Henry Redger, Irvin Isaac, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Quinton and Dianne Unruh, Susie, and Jessie, and Roy and Nadine Davis, Rhonda and Eileen.
Guests during the weekend at the Palmer Base home were Merle and Pam Harman, Geneva Pryce of Newton, and Kevin Pryce of Wellington. They helped with some farm work.
