Stucky exhibit opens at Emil Kym gallery
Brian Stucky, art and photography instructor in the Goessel schools, will have a public reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Emil Kym Art Gallery located on the Goessel High School campus. The exhibit is titled "Pieces of My Life."
The reception is a come-and-go event, which also happens to be on his birthday. He requests no gifts. The exhibit will be up through Sept. 6.
The exhibit is a retrospective of Stucky's life, going back to artwork done in the first grade, grade school, high school, college, and up to the present day. Works include oils, printmaking, drawing, graphic art, and photography. There are works reminiscent of awards, professional exhibits, and publications. The exhibit opened with the first day of school, Aug. 15.
