Suderman celebration marks 50th years ago
Art and Harriet Suderman of rural Hillsboro will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church activity center. There will be a program at 3 p.m.
Art Suderman and Harriet Klaassen were married in the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, 1954, with Waldo D. Hiebert officiating.
Hosts for the occasion will be their five children, 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren: Glenn and Lynnette Suderman, Kelsi and Grant of Garnett; Debi and Scott Foth, Sara, Nadia, and Juan, and Toshia and Tony Silva, Trace and Tessa of Kerman, Calif.; Lori and Lou Thurston and Jessi and Ian Weisbeck, Elli and Tuesday of Hillsboro and Staci and Fred Silhan of Sidney, Ohio; David and Connie Suderman, Michael, Tyler, and Adam, and Roxi and Ty Klein and Iris of Hillsboro.
Friends and family are invited.
