Susie Goertzen

Susie Goertzen, 84, of Goessel, died July 4, 2006, at Wichita.

Born March 24, 1922, in Marion County, she was the daughter of John and Anna (Brandt) Flaming.

On April 26, 1946, she married Eldon Goertzen at Goessel.

She was preceded in death by her husband and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a son, Stanley Goertzen of Walton; daughter Brenda Buller of Hillsboro; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Saturday morning at Tabor Mennonite Church, Goessel, with Pastor Corey Miller and Pastor Karen Andres officiating.

Burial was in Tabor Church Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with Bethesda Home.
