Tabor College announces cast for homecoming musical
Tabor College has announced the cast and crew for the 2007 homecoming production of "HONK!"
Performances will take place homecoming weekend, Oct. 18-21 in the Tabor College chapel-auditorium.
The Oct. 18 performance begins at 7 p.m. Performances on Oct. 19-20 begin at 7:30 p.m. The Oct. 21 performance begins at 2 p.m.
The fun and pun-filled musical comedy is based on the tale of the ugly duckling.
Judy Harder, associate professor of communications and drama, is directing the show.
"I am pleased and impressed with the energetic and talented cast and production team," she said, adding that all ages will enjoy "HONK!"
Musical direction will be given by Dr. Holly Swartzendruber, assistant professor of vocal music. The instrumental conductor will be Dr. Brad Vogel, associate professor of choral music, and the pianist will be Sharon Toews, a 2006 Tabor College graduate.
Student assistants are Matt Peiper, Marion, Iowa, and Rebecca Pederson, Gretna, Neb.

All seats are reserved and seating is limited. Ticket prices are $8.50, $5 for students, and $2.50 for children 4-11, accompanied by an adult. Reservations must be made by calling the Tabor College Student Development Office at 620-947-3121 ext. 1033.
