Tabor College graduates 130 in 97th commencement years ago
One hundred thirty Tabor College seniors received diplomas on Saturday, May 19, during the ninety-seventh commencement ceremony.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Professor Fran Jabara Leadership Award was given.
Kyle Larson, Garden City, and Sara Schall, Wichita, received a cash award and plaque in honor of their leadership skills for their time as Tabor College students, and for their potential leadership capabilities
Tabor College Hillsboro class representative Steve Lautt, Minot, N.D., and Tabor College Wichita class representative Patricia Russell, Derby, delivered graduate addresses.
The guest speaker, Dr. Ronald J. Sider, president of Evangelicals for Social Action, Philadelphia, Pa., explained what it means to be a genuine Christian and how to live a life that reflects one's faith.
