TABOR COLLEGE: Lady 'Jays topple McPherson

It took a game Monday night for the Lady Bluejays' volleyball team to get started, but once it did, Tabor was able to oust the visiting McPherson Lady Bulldogs in four games.

Tabor stumbled out of the gate, slipping 34-32 in the opener.

But the Bluejays were able to rebound, winning the next three games, 30-14, 30-19 and 30-27, respectively.

The victory raises the Bluejays' record to 17-5 overall and 13-1 in the KCAC.

The Bluejays picked up a big road win Oct. 24 in Wichita, making short work of the Friends Falcons in three games.

Tabor won the first two games 30-25 and 30-18, thwarting Lady Falcons' hopes of a fourth game with a 30-28 win to complete the sweep.

Tabor hosts the Sterling Lady Warriors tonight at 6 p.m. before traveling Saturday to Leavenworth to take on St. Mary.
