Tabor is site of youth rally
Tabor College and radio station KJRL will hold a youth rally at 3 p.m. on Jan. 27 featuring a contemporary Christian music group and a youth speaker.
The Mid-Winter Jam youth rally is targeted at junior high and high school students and is intended to be a spiritually meaningful, exciting, and affordable youth rally.
Whisper Loud is the teen trio that will perform. They record on the Reunion Records label. Keri Blumer, Alana Carris, and Tessa Gaskill are from Woodward, Okla., and tour nationwide.
Alton Carter is founder of a mentoring and motivational speaking program, LifeChange, Inc. He is an Oklahoma State University police officer and owns a tumbling and cheerleading center in Stillwater. Carter also is coordinator the middle school Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Stillwater and is an active leader in Eagle Heights Baptist Church.
Tickets are $6 per person or $5 for groups of 10 or more. They are available in advance at Thee Bookstore in Hillsboro or by calling KJRL at 1-877-813-5366. Tickets will be available at the door.
