Tabor JV volleyball is 2-2 on season
The Tabor College junior varsity volleyball team competed in a two-day tournament hosted Friday night at McPherson College and Saturday morning at Tabor.
Tabor, McPherson and Otero Junior College, La Junta, Colo., participated in the triangular.
The Lady Jays came away from tournament play with a record of 2-2.
Tabor defeated McPherson 30-26 and 30-25, Friday and 30-25 and 30-22 Saturday.
Otero defeated Tabor 30-27, 30-27 Friday and 30-24, 30-26 Saturday.
Other scores were: Otero defeated McPherson 30-28, 30-24 Friday and 30-21, 30-13 Saturday.
Both Tabor squads played Tuesday when Tabor hosted Sterling College.
Both teams will be at home again tonight. The JV will play Hesston College at 6 p.m., and the varsity will play Bethany at 7 p.m. Southwestern College comes to town Saturday for a 4 p.m. game.
The volleyball team travels to Wichita Sept. 23 to take on Newman University.
