Tabor snags area pitcher
Tabor College head baseball coach John Sparks announced the first signing for the 2005-06 season.
Phillip Unruh, a Hesston College sophomore from Peabody, who is expected to be Hesston's number-one starter this season.
"We are pleased that Phil has decided to be a part of things here at Tabor next season," said Sparks. "We feel that Phil will be an excellent fit for Tabor both on and off the baseball field."
Unruh, a 6-2, 220 pound pitcher, had a 4-5 freshman season at Hesston with a 3.86 ERA.
