A team of six Tabor College students participated in Global Trivia night on Central Asia at the Interfaith Ministries Gallery in Wichita. The team earned third place.
The evening event held March 31 was sponsored by the Global Learning Center. Four teams were challenged through 10 rounds of questions covering history, geography, culture, political leadership, sports, arts, and entertainment from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran.
Tabor College was represented by Corinne Bannon of Wichita, Ivana Gunawan of Indonesia, Ryan Klassen of Inman, Robert Jost, Alisa Schmidt, and Ben T. Schmidt, all of Hillsboro.
Students from Wichita State University and Cowley County Community College also competed. One team did not have student representation.
