Tabor to host NAIA first round playoff game
Tabor College Bluejays, ranked No. 6 in the latest NAIA football poll, will host a first round Football Championship Series (FCS) playoff game against Graceland University on Saturday at Cessna Stadium in Wichita. on the campus of Wichita State University with kickoff set for 1:30 p.m.
Tabor College completed the 2005 regular season with an overall record of 10-0 while claiming the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference championship with a record of 9-0. The Bluejays are making their third straight post-season appearance and have won the KCAC two consecutive seasons under second year head coach Mike Gardner.
Graceland University from Lamoni, Iowa, finished the season ranked No. 12 in the final NAIA poll with a record of 9-2 and a Heart of America Athletic Conference record of 8-2 which earned them the HAAC co- championship.
