Tabor lost to Sterling Saturday 2-4 at Sterling in the Bluejays' last game of the year. The team finished the season eight and eight over all, and three and six in the conference, putting the women in seventh place in the KCAC.

Michelle Rink, a senior from Wichita, scored the team's first goal against Sterling, tying the game at one to one. Stephanie Stuber, a junior from Gillette, Wyo., scored Tabor's second goal putting the Blue Jays up two to one at halftime.

Sterling came back from the half and scored three goals against Tabor winning the game, and ending the women's season in seventh place.

According to Hank Wiebe, head women's soccer coach at Tabor, the team's injuries were definitely a contributing factor in the loss.

"We were hurting," said Wiebe.

Sunday KCAC Soccer Coaches met in McPherson to vote on all-conference players. Michelle Rink won First Team All Conference and Co-Offensive Player of the Year with 23 goals and 22 assists. Kari Shorb, a senior from McPherson, won Second Team All Conference Defender, and Kandi Holland, a senior from Moreno Valley, Calif., received an Honorable Mention All KCAC Forward.
