Take time to enjoy
Take time to enjoy
With the holidays approaching quickly, and our lives filled with a number of various activities, I'd like to challenge folks to take the time to enjoy even the smallest moments of life.
For many of us, it can be difficult to find enjoyment in a hustle and bustle world focused on success and financial rewards.
But true serenity lives all around us in the beauty of God's earth.
This past weekend I went hunting with my family and found pure enjoyment out of being engulfed by nature. ( I was also pretty proud of myself for waking up before 6 a.m.)
I don't normally like to put landscape or scenary photographs on the front page of our paper, but after seeing several beautiful sunsets over the past couple of weeks and enjoying my time out in the middle of a pasture, I just had to share one with you.
My life, like yours, is often very busy. But I have found that taking time to "smell the flowers" can alleviate the pains and stresses of the mind.
If you're burdened by stress or just need to clear your mind, just walk outside, take a big breath, and enjoy those things that God has given.
