TC athletes compete in track nationals
Eight student-athletes from Tabor College competed May 25-27 at the track and field nationals at Fresno (Calif.) Pacific University.
Caleb Stanton of Anaheim, Calif., broke his own school record with a time of 48.69 in the 400m dash and qualified for the semi-finals.
Stanton also was part of the 4x400m relay team with Brian Lightner of Inman, Jeff Anenson of Mayer, Minn., and Mike Beach of Arvada, Colo.
In addition to the relay, Lightner competed in the 400m intermediate hurdles and 110m high hurdles.
Other athletes included Trent Voth, Halstead, 110m high hurdles; Matt Rorabaugh, Lebanon, high jump; Doug Pierce, Arp, Texas, and Ashley Malcom, Limon, Colo., triple jump.
