Ten Bethel nursing students inducted into Sigma Theta Tau
Ten senior nursing students at Bethel College were inducted as members of the Epsilon Gamma chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International during a formal ceremony on Nov. 21 in Hubbard Hall at Wichita State University.
Area students recognized include Erin Bartel and Becky Klein, Hillsboro.
Sigma Theta Tau International is the only nursing honor society in the world, and currently has over 300,000 members in 85 countries. Membership is by invitation, based on scholarship as evidenced by high academic performance, leadership ability and excellence in practice.
Other schools in the Epsilon Gamma At-Large Chapter are Wichita State University and Newman University in Wichita, and Southwestern College in Winfield.
A total of 54 undergraduate students, 22 graduate students and five community leaders were inducted at this fall's ceremony.
