Ten wrestlers medal at Bluestem
The Hillsboro Middle School wrestlers competed last Saturday in the Bluestem Wrestling Tournament. The team also competed in the same tournament last Thursday.
"We are pleased with the results of this tournament," said Head Coach Corey Burton. "We entered 17 wrestlers and medaled 10 of them."
"They wrestled well against some good competition," Burton said. "Wade Weibert, Andrew Bina, and Ben Schaefer wrestled well in winning their brackets. We have two more tournaments to wrestle and we are looking forward to them," he said.
The team wrestled on Tuesday at Chase County in the Cottonwood Valley League Tournament.
