Thurston, Silhan to marry
Lou and Lori Thurston of Hillsboro and Terry and Kathy Silhan of Pilsen announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Staci Thurston and Fred Silhan.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and is a senior majoring in marketing at Emporia State University.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Centre High School and is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering in technology at Kansas State University-Salina.
The wedding will be Jan. 4, 2003, in the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
