What a wonderful evening we had last night on the Main and Grand street intersection celebrating the new downtown area. Elsewhere in last week's Hillsboro Star-Journal, you can read all about.
We moved to Hillsboro on July 31, 1965, and subscribed to the Hillsboro Star-Journal at once, always renewing. That's over 38 years ago, and we plan to continue. I have no idea how many owners, editors, news writers there have been some good, some not so good, but we plan to continue to read the Star-Journal in the future.
I was pleasantly surprised to hear my name announced as the winner of a full year's subscription. So Marie and I continue to be readers and to know all about Hillsboro and the surrounding area at no cost. Thanks.
