Track athletes take first at Haven quad
The Goessel High School track team competed at the Haven quad track meet on Tuesday.
School participating were Goessel, Wichita Independent, Haven, Sedgwick, and Burrton.
In the girls' division, Melinda Stucky placed first in the high jump with a jump of five feet. She will compete in the Kansas University relays high jump at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
In the boys' division Justin Fensky took first place in the triple jump with a 40-feet-2-inch jump.
The team will be action at a home meet Tuesday held at Hesston.
