Trojans dominate Canton-Galva meet
Girls take first with 86 points, boys take first with 118 points

The Hillsboro High School boys' and girls' track teams dominated the competition in their first meet of the season at the Canton-Galva Invitational Track Meet held Tuesday at Moundridge.
Despite the unseasonably cold temperatures, the HHS team faired well, winning first place in both the boys' and girls' divisions, scoring team totals of 118 and 86 points, respectively.
Teams competing in the meet were Canton-Galva, Centre, Hillsboro, Little River and Moundridge.
"It was our first track meet and we had some good marks," said Head Coach Dennis Boldt.
"The temperature dropped extremely low by the end of the meet, so we strided a few of our last races to avoid injury, but other than that we competed extremely well," he said.
The Trojans will compete at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Fairfield High School in Langdon.
