Trojans net two on all-league baseball first team

Three Hillsboro High School baseball players were named this past week to Mid-Central Activities Association teams.

Juniors Daniel Jost and Isaac Leihy were named to the first team, Leihy was named again on the second team, and Jost and Jacob Edwards earned honorable-mention as well.

Jost was named as a designated hitter on the first team, and a short stop on the honorable mention squad.

Leihy earned the first-team award as a pitcher, and the second-team as an outfielder.

Edwards was recognized as an outfielder on the honorable mention team.

The Trojans finished the season as regional runners-up.
