Truman Diener
Truman L. Diener, 82, of Hillsboro died Oct. 26, 2003, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
Born May 15, 1921, at Yoder, he was the son of Harry A. and Amanda (Selzer) Diener.
On Sept. 10, 1948, in Newton, he married Venora Wiebe. She died in 1998.
He was a vocational agriculture teacher and a member of Trinity Mennonite Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, and daughter, Nannette Diener, who died in 1958.
Survivors include sons, Tim Diener of Hillsboro and Glen Diener of Newton; daughter, Ann Kopper of Garden City; brothers, Edward, Clayton, Paul, and Herman Diener; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday at Trinity Mennonite Church with Pastor Tim Kliewer officiating.
Burial was at Haven of Rest Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
