UMW holds bridal shower for Jenny Mohn, Justin McKnight

Jenny Mohn from Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, Ill., and Justin McKnight from LeTourneau University in Longview, Tex., were honored guests at a bridal shower on Sunday afternoon sponsored by the Methodist UMW. Hostesses were Marie Adams, Emogene Kuhn, and Cindy Reese. Jenny is the daughter of Gordon and Vicky Mohn of Hillsboro.
On Sunday Bernice McDowell accompanied Jerry and Tootsie Schmidt to Andover where they attended the 50th anniversary open house for Bill and Hankie Thomas. Hankie is Bernice's sister.
Dennis and Judy Penner and Elgin and Rubena Bartel were among others from the area who joined other family members for the Leppke family reunion at Hesston over the weekend.
Willis and Ruth Ann Penner were Tuesday supper guests at the Paul Pankratzes. The Penners have recently moved to Hillsboro from a farm southwest of Hillsboro.
Over the weekend, Paul and Elaine Jantzen attended the workshop "Faith in the Worldwind" held at Hesston. The guest speaker was Myron Augsburger.
On Wednesday, Duane and Shirley Hamm visited Albert and Janet Christensen and family in Wichita.
