USD 410 OKs three contracts years ago
A special meeting of the USD 410 board of education held Monday night began with an executive session and ended with an orientation session for new members.
After an executive session for negotiations lasting under 30 minutes, the board approved contracts for three employees.
Two Parents As Teachers employees — Lesli Beery and Tisha Bielefield — both had their contracts approved. Beery will earn just under $30,000 a year, and Bielefield will earn almost $14 per hour. Beery has been a full-time home visitor with PAT, and Bielefield will become full-time next month.
The board also approved a contract for Linda Ogden, the director of Communities in Schools. Her salary through USD 410 is $1,250 a month.
For both contracts, the Hillsboro district merely holds the contract — the money to fund the salaries come from other sources.
