Voter registration ends Monday

Voter registration ends Monday in Kansas.

The general election is Nov. 5.

In Marion County, residents can register during regular business hours at the county clerk's office in the courthouse; city offices in Florence, Hillsboro, Marion, and Peabody; banks in Goessel, Burns, Durham, Lincolnville, and Tampa; post offices in Lehigh, Lost Springs, or Ramona; the county health department; or the local SRS office in Marion.

Anyone who is 18 or older on Nov. 5 can register to vote. Anyone who has changed their name or residence since they last voted must re-register.

Any registered voter also may request an advance ballot at the county clerk's office. Those requesting an advance ballot by mail should do so immediately. Those picking up a ballot in person must do so at the county clerk's office by noon Nov. 4.

All advance ballots, whether returned in person or by mail, must be in the county clerk's office by 7 p.m. Nov. 5.
