Wallace Kasper
Wallace "Wally" Kasper, 83, of Newton, died June 21, 2006, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Born Feb. 27, 1923, at Roxbury, he was the son of John and Carrie (Stubby) Kasper.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked at Tip Top Creamery, Hillsboro, and Boeing, Wichita, as a parts expediter, retiring in 1985.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Harvey; and two sisters, Doris Birkle and Ellen Winter.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson, with the Rev. Michael Fibranz officiating.
Burial was in Lehigh Mennonite Cemetery, Lehigh.
Memorial funds have been established with Ducks Unlimited or the American Heart Association.
