Wedding: Jantz, Hiebert

Melinda Kay Jantz of Hesston and Nathan Dale Hiebert of Goessel were married on June 15, 2002, at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, rural Goessel.

Parents of the couple are Randy and Debbie Jantz and John and Bertha Hiebert.

Mark Wiens of the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in rural Goessel, and Steve Toews of the Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church in Hesston, officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a strapless satin A-line gown with corset-style bodice featuring beaded lace on the hem and bodice. She wore a tiara with a fingertip two-tier veil scattered with rhinestones and a corded edge. Her necklace and earrings were gifts from her father.

She carried a bouquet of white roses.

Matron of honor was Tonya Ferguson of Hutchinson.

Bridesmaids were Sara Unruh of Goessel, Ashley Claassen of Wichita, Andrea Wiebe of Hesston, and Angela Swartzendruber of Hesston.

Flowergirl was Page Hiebert of Goessel.

Best man was Brad Hiebert of Goessel, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Aaron Ratzlaff of Topeka, Brad Jantz of Newton, Kelly Ratzlaff of Goessel, and Nathan Hall of Goessel.

Ushers were Daniel Jantz of Hesston, brother of the bride, Lance Hiebert of Goessel, brother of the groom, and Corey Wiens of Goessel, cousin of the groom.

Guest book attendant was Arianna Unruh of Hesston.

Handing out programs were Kory and Evan Hiebert of Goessel.

Marcia Brubaker of Goessel was the organist, and pianists were Loretta Wiens of Goessel, aunt of the groom, and Deborah Toews of Hesston.

Soloists were Amy Buhrman and Josh Heim of Hesston.

Reader was Blake Buhrman of Hesston.

Bethany Thiesen and Ren Flickinger, both of Moundridge were in charge of the gifts.

The reception was held at the Bontrager Student Center at Hesston College in Hesston. Serving as hosts and hostesses were Scott and Laurie Thiesen and Jeff and LeAnn Flickinger, all of Moundridge.

Reception attendants were Tawnya Frary, Rachel Burkholder, both of Hesston, and Sara Ratzlaff and Kim Voth, both of Goessel.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Hesston High School an a May 2001 graduate of Hesston College. She is attending Wichita State University majoring in social work. She is employed at the Credit Union of America in Wichita.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Goessel High School and a May 2001 graduate of Kansas State University-Salina with a degree in aviation technology. He is employed as an experimental flightline mechanic at Cessna in Wichita.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents on June 14 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church fellowship hall. The dinner was served by the groom's uncles and aunts.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple reside in Wichita.
