Wedding: Wiebe, Heathcock
Gordon and Karen Wiebe of Hillsboro announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Brett Linell Wiebe to Michael Jason Heathcock, originally from Bulverde, Texas, son of Joe and Linda Heathcock of Jacksonville, Fla.
Brett is the granddaughter of Violet Bartel of Shafter, Calif., and Mike is the grandson of Emma Lois Heathcock of Bulverde, Texas.
The bride-elect graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1994 and Azusa Pacific University in California in 1998. She is employed by the State of Nevada as a social worker and is a graduate student in social work at UNLV.
The groom-to-be graduated from Smithson Valley High School in Spring Branch, Texas, in 1990 and attended Texas A & M. He is employed in Las Vegas, Nev., as a union electrician.
The wedding and reception will be Sept. 17 at Green Valley Christian Center in Henderson, Nev. The couple plan to honeymoon in Italy and will reside in Henderson.
