WEDDINGS: Rector, Craft

Lynnae Kathleen Rector of Hillsboro and Ryan Todd Craft of Wichita were married Sept. 29, 2001, at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. The Rev. R. Laney Kuhn officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy and Kirby Rector of Hillsboro. The bridegroom is the son of Marcia and Kent Craft of Wichita.

The bride wore a white princess cut gown with spaghetti straps featuring vine-like beadwork gliding asymmetrically across the front continuing onto the back peplum leading to the semi-cathedral train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses and greenery gathered together with white satin ribbon.

Matron of honor was Amber Rector, sister-in-law of the bride. Best man was Michael Craft, brother of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Becky Soyez, cousin of the bride, and Jana Hackney.

Groomsmen were Jesse Benner and Ryan Carlin.

Flower girl was Brealynn Gatton, cousin of the bride.

Ring bearer was Dylan Jirak.

Ushers were Ryan Rector and Eric Rector, brothers of the bride, and David Bever and Todd Campbell.

Guest book attendant was Kendra Smith, cousin of the bride.

Vocalists were Dan Benner, Jesse Benner, and Sara Eldridge.

A reception and dance were held at Red Coach Inn, McPherson. Host and hostess were Wayne and Linda Friesen, uncle and aunt of the bride. Servers were Gayleen Smith and Jackie Rector, aunts of the bride, and Connie Martin, aunt of the groom.

The newlyweds honeymooned in San Diego and reside in Wichita. The bride is employed as a doctor's assistant at Grene Vision, Wichita, and the groom is an architect with Gossen Livingston Associates, Wichita.
