WEDDINGS: Scott and Michelle Ayers
Michelle Lee Heath and Robert Scott Ayers, both of McPherson, were married Sept. 8, 2001, at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. Rev. R. Laney Kuhn officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Anita Elam of Lehigh. The bridegroom is the son of Charles and Sandra Ayers of Hillsboro.
The bride wore a white Regal satin gown. The bodice of the sleeveless dress featured a wide scoop neckline and an empire waist accented with beaded vine and flower patterns. The beaded patterns also surrounded the full princess style gown and cathedral-length train at the hemline.
Kristi Mason was the matron of honor. Linda Murphy was the bride's attendant.
Michael Boese was the best man. Trevor Steinert was the groom's attendant.
Cathryn Elam and Caitlin Mason were flower girls. Craig Boese was the ring bearer.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Table Rock Lake and reside in McPherson.
