William Krebs
William "Bill" D. Krebs, 67, died Dec. 14, 2006, at Scott City.
Born Jan. 3, 1939, at Scott City, he was the son of William and Alta (Scott) Kerbs.
He was a farmer/stockman who lived his entire life in the Scott City area. On Aug. 24, 1957, he married Marilyn Basgall at Scott City.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Tonda Krebs.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; son, Brad Krebs of Quincy, Ill.; daughter, Deena Hedges of Burlington; mother, Alta Krebs of Scott City; brother, Don Krebs of Hillsboro; and two grandchildren.
Funeral Mass was said Monday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City, with Father Warren Stecklein as celebrant.
Burial was in Scott County Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with St. Joseph Catholic Church or Scott Community Foundation for Youth.
