Wilma Schroeder
Wilma Grace Schroeder, 73, died April 5, 2007, at her home in McPherson.
Born April 5, 1934, at Lehigh, she was the daughter of Fred and Ellen (Kasper) Winter.
She was a homemaker, waitress at several restaurants in McPherson, and clerk at the former K-Mart store in McPherson.
On Sept. 29, 1957, she married Robert Schroeder at Lehigh. He died in 2004.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glenn Winter.
Survivors include two daughters, Juanita Thrower of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dawn Crumpacker of Roxbury; son, Kevin Schroeder of Galva; five sisters, Virginia Schulz, Lois Lake, and Betty Brewer of McPherson, Joyce Gooding of Tempe, Ariz., and Mary Tector of Wichita; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at the First United Methodist Church, McPherson, with the Rev. Harold Nelson officiating.
Burial was in McPherson Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
