Wilma Voth

Wilma Voth, 82, of rural Peabody, died Dec. 3, 2007.

The daughter of John and Augusta (Unruh) Unruh, she was born March 17, 1925, at Goessel.

On June 11, 1948, she married Arnold Voth at Goessel.

She was a member of Tabor Mennonite Church, serving on the education committee, the peace and social concern committee, and as a deacon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Justina Unruh.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold of rural Peabody; son, Rodney Voth of Hillsboro; three daughters, Annette Voth of Elbing, Lois Voth of The Woodlands, Texas, and Ellen Voth of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Robert Unruh of Goessel and Fred Unruh of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday morning at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, with Pastor Corey Miller and Pastor Karen Andres officiating.

A memorial fund has been established with the Mennonite Central Committee.
