Wonsevu: Reynolds and Dowell attend wedding in Virginia

There are people whose watch stops at a certain hour and who remain permanently at that age.

Bev Reynolds and her daughter, Katherine Dowell of Leon went to Hampton, Va., to attend the wedding of Bev's nephew, Jonathan Goodwin and Liza Davis at Bethel Manor Chapel at Yorktown, Va. They attended the reception at the Raddison Hotel at Norfolk, Va. While there they visited Jamestown, Va., the sight of the first settlement of the United States. Bev and Katherine returned home Tuesday.

Hazel Clothier attended the dinner Wednesday at Carriage Manor in Florence. Hazel ate dinner Friday with Teresa Hill and Cassidy of Marion at Chuck Wagon at Florence.

John Moore of Wichita was a Saturday visitor of Hazel. Her Sunday afternoon visitor was Carl Williams of Manhattan.

We extend sympathy to the family of Larry Robertson. He ran a service station in Florence before moving to Marion. He will be missed by the many who knew him.

Overnight guests Friday of Jaimie Lang were Peyton Smith and Britany Herrington of Cottonwood Falls. Jaimie, Britany, and Peyton went to the Halloween dance Friday night at Cottonwood Falls.

Bill and Margie Williams' Saturday dinner guests were Carl Williams and Becca Kukuk of Manhattan, and Mike Taylor of Marion.

Bill and Margie and Hazel Clothier attended the Methodist ladies' annual supper Saturday evening at the Methodist church at Burns.

Katherine and Floyd Dowell of Leon were Sunday dinner guests of Roy and Bev Reynolds. They helped Katherine celebrate her birthday.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Laura Parks. She lived at Cedar Point many years ago. She will be missed by the many who knew her.

Bill and Margie Williams visited Sunday afternoon with Elizabeth and John Butcher at their home.
