Yvonne Beck

Yvonne J. Beck, 68, of Hesston, died April 17, 2004, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus in Wichita.

Born July 2, 1935, in Marion County, she was the daughter of Gus Penner and Salome Groening.

She was a secretary for social and rehabilitation services and a member of Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church. She lived in Moundridge and Wichita before moving to Hesston in November of 2000.

Survivors include sons, Kennis Beck and Lennis Beck, both of Hesston; brother, Johnnie Penner of Parkville, Mo.; sister, Marjorie Dalke of Moundridge; and one grandchild.

Services were held April 21 at Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church with Rev. Steve Toews officiating. Burial was at Mound Township Cemetery at Moundridge.

A memorial fund has been established with Equipping Future Generations at Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church.

Frank Dvorak

Frank Edward Dvorak, 62, of Lehigh died April 15, 2004, at Lehigh.

Born Feb. 18, 1942, in Denver, Colo., he was the son of Otto and Frances (Moline) Dvorak.

He was a building inspector.

Survivors include stepmother, Ruth Dvorak of Greeley, Colo.; son, Kraig Dvorak of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Kim and husband Mark Del Toro of Kerrville, Texas; girl friend, Terry Randall of Lehigh; sister, Joanne and husband Paul Klassen of rural Lehigh; and four grandchildren.

Services were held April 19 at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel in Hillsboro with Pastor Tim Sullivan officiating.
