A huge log at Florence’s 5th St. bridge east of the city nearly stopped surface flow on the Cottonwood River for two days last week.

Lincolnville has completed plans for its annual Fourth of July celebration in the city park. The evening will end with fireworks at the ball diamond.

Mr. and Mrs. James McPheeters have purchased Kingfisher’s Inn at Marion County Lake from Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Post.
