This week’s personality profile features Ron J. Cork of Lutheran Hospitals and Homes Society of Fargo, North Dakota, newly appointed administrator at St. Luke Hospital. Cork looks forward to extended services for the community.
Pictured on the front page are Jennifer, Jill, and Michelle Thole with a big board of mounted butterflies. Daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Thole, they collected the butterflies as part of a 4-H entomology project.
Former teachers and students of Sunflower School and their families had their third annual reunion Sept. 30 in the basement of Marion City Building.
Marion native Beverly Hoch is one of six young musicians to be selected for the Young Concert Artists Series of 1979-’80. She is the only American to be chosen as a Young Concert Artist this season. Her debut is scheduled for Jan. 22.
