These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
290th Rd. west of Upland Rd.
Emily P. Schaefers, 25, Marion, hit a deer at 7:24 p.m. Oct. 29 with a 2016 Jeep Cherokee owned by Kelley J. Schaefers of a different Marion address.
Damage to the Jeep’s front and hood was characterized as minor.
Aaliyah R. Mabe, age redacted, of the driver’s address was a passenger.
30th Rd. west of Sunflower Rd.
Andrew J. Wedel, 26, rural Peabody, hit a deer at 7:25 a.m. Oct. 30 with a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse owned by April N. Wedel of the same address.
The Chevy remained drivable with damage to its front, hood, and undercarriage.
320th Rd. near Remington Rd.
A 2013 Dodge Ram 2500 owned by Adam J. Makovec, 27, rural Lincolnville, was extensively damaged when it caught fire after shutting down and then being restarted shortly before 11:30 p.m. Oct. 30.
US-77 north of 70th Rd.
Flanigan J. Lethander, 24, Arkansas City, hit a dog at 7:37 p.m. Oct. 26 with his 2017 Cadillac CTS, which remained drivable with damage to its left front and hood.
