She and an unidentified other woman were waiting in a second car at a driveway to a wind turbine when part-time deputy Corey Unruh arrived nine minutes later. They already had arranged for the car to be towed.

The unspecified Allis-Chalmers implement, owned by Kevin Winter of rural Hillsboro and driven by Dana L. Wolford, 60, rural Durham, sustained damage characterized as minor to its left front.

MARION

Two vehicles collided at 5:21 p.m. Nov. 22 at the intersection of two alleys in the same block, according to a report released after deadline Dec. 3.
Officers Aaron Slater’s report blamed the wreck on driver Andrew A. Hansen, 54, Marion, failing to yield while driving north in a 1996 Ford Bronco owned by Hansen and David of Jackson, Wyoming.
The Bronco struck an eastbound 2013 Dodge Charger owned and driven by Cynthia A. Buckner, 54, Marion.
The Bronco remained drivable with damage to its left front. The Charger sustained disabling damage to its right front and was towed.
Passengers in the Bronco were identified as Staci L. Hansen, 53, Marion, and Jules V. Christian, 49, Jacksonville, Florida. Charger passengers were identified as Victor L. Bucker, 67, of the driver’s address and Daniel L. Bucker, 3, of a different Marion addresses.
Slater’s report states that Hansen told him he had been inching forward to check for traffic because a building blocked clear vision of the intersection.
However, Slater’s report states, a review of surveillance video from a camera on the building blocking view indicated Hansen made no attempt to slow down or inch toward the intersection.
Despite this conclusion, no tickets were listed as being issued.
300 block of E. Main St.
Improper backing was blamed in what was described as a hit-and-run accident involving two vehicles parked or attempting to park illegally at 9:25 a.m. Nov. 30, according to a report released after deadline Dec. 3.
Interim chief Zach Hudlin’s report blames driver Keri M. Collett, 36, Marion, for improperly backing her 2013 Toyota Sienna, which struck an illegally parked 2012 Nissan Maxima owned by Karissa R. Spence of rural Marion.
Both vehicles sustained damage characterized as minor to their right sides.
The report, which at one point contradicts itself about which vehicle was parked and which was being driven, offers no explanation for why the accident was classified as a hit and run.
No tickets were listed as being issued.
Collett is married to Marion City Council member Zach Collett.
