Bluegrass bands to play at cove

Winfield’s loss might be Marion County’s gain this weekend, with several bluegrass musicians scheduled to play a show 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Hillsboro Cove.

The musicians were among those scheduled to play at Winfield’s Walnut Valley Festival, which was canceled because of COVID-19.

Groups will play two-hour time blocks, and the event will be streamed on social media for those who can’t attend in person.
